Mahesh Babu’s ‘Spyder’ was one of the biggest disasters at ticket window in the recent times in South India.Released in Telugu and Tamil languages, the film left distributors in huge losses and Mahesh Babu is now repaying. It was clumsy and boring movie. Even Television audiences have rejected it.
‘Spyder’ was premiered on TV during Sankranthi season. However, people didn’t show much interest to watch in TV as it got mere 6.7 rating points.Whereas NTR’s “Jai Lava Kusa” and Ravi Teja’s “Raja The Great”, both of them that were premiered during Sankranthi festival on different channels, have got whopping 17 TRPs each.
What is even more shocking is that utter flop movie “Nirmala Convent” received better ratings than “Spyder” this Sankranthi time on Television.”Nirmala Convent” that starred hero Srikanth’s teenage son in the lead role received 8 TRP, which is two points higher than Mahesh Babu’s movie.
