Finding the true competitor happens only inside the boxing ring for this young mega hero Varun Tej, who has bulked up and took international level training to play kickboxer on the silver screen. Recently, the film’s shoot got commenced under newcomer Kiran Korrapati’s direction at Vizag.
Finally, after considering many heroes to portray a villain in this flick, we hear that young hero Naveen Chandra is finalised as that opponent in the ring. With Naveen given almost 45 days to prep for the role, the actor has not only transformed his physique but also worked out with a Hyderabad based boxing coach to get the sport right. After rigorous training, he’s said to be flying to Vizag to take part in the shoot now.
While this reminds of the climax duel of Raviteja and Subbaraj in Amma Nanna O Tamilammayi movie, here the heroes will be more authentic in terms of boxing when it comes to their physique, moves inside the ring and their total body language. Earlier Naveen played the villain for Jr NTR in Aravinda Sametha, so we have to see what best he brings out for Varun Tej.
Boxer also marks the debut of Allu Bobby, Arvind’s elder son, as a producer.
