The big fat Hyderabadi wedding has begun. Earlier this year, your diarist had noted that Shriya Bhupal, granddaughter of Hyderabad tycoon Dr GVK Reddy, would be marrying the handsome Anindith Reddy of the Apollo Hospitals family.
The wedding is said to be on July 6 in Hyderabad, but the pre-wedding parties have already begun in and around Paris.The entire Reddy family is there with the couple, along with a few hundred of their friends.Shalini’s brother Sanjay Reddy is there, along with his wife Pinky, children Mallika and Keshav and their spouses, and so are Shriya’s brother Krishna Bhupal, and his wife Dia, along with her parents Anoop and Devaunshi Mehta and brothers Dhruva and Mohit.
The celebrations began with a masked ball on Sunday night at the Chantilly Palace outside Paris, with Shriya looking chic in a flaming red Giambattista Valli tiered gown and gold crown.Designer Tarun Tahiliani has done the décor and flow of events, and Abu Jani and Sandeep Khosla are also attending.
