‘The Lion King’ is now releasing in India in English, Telugu, Tamil and Hindi, and the brightest part is that the superstars of these tinsel towns are going to dub for the characters of Mufasa and Simba.
Directed by ‘Iron Man’ and ‘The Jungle Book’ fame director, Jon Favreau, ‘The Lion King’ releases on July 19th. And it looks like they are leaving no stone unturned to make the Telugu version better as they have roped in Natural star Nani to dub for Simba character. And his father’s character, Mufasa, is being voiced by Ravi Shankar (Sai Kumar’s brother).
And the villain of the film, Scar, is voiced by Jagapathi Babu. That makes the film interesting as Nani is the new hero and Jagapathi Babu is the new villain for this Disney Classic. While the story of ‘The Lion King’ is pretty same, this is more like a realistic version of animals, unlike the animated ones.
Made on the likes of The Jungle Book, Disney India is expecting to shatter records and register stunning collections in India with this film.
