The reason behind KCR’s silence on Chandrababu

Telangana Chief Minister and Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) chief K. Chandrasekhar Rao has been campaigning across the state for Lok Sabha elections and driving a message against the BJP and the Congress. He has been pushing the idea of a non-BJP, non-Congress Federal Front and strongly believes that regional parties will decide the fate of the government at the Centre.

Throughout this narrative, KCR has been criticising the Congress and the BJP and surprisingly staying silent on AP elections or his rival and TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu. KCR, who is known to have publicly called Chandrababu a traitor and deceiver, turning people of Telangana against him and calling him an “Telangana Drohi,” is limiting his criticism to the national parties.

On the other hand, Chandrababu is using KCR’s words from Telangana assembly elections’ campaigns and creating a sentiment against him in the AP assembly elections. Fortunately, this has worked in favour of TDP after YSRCP’s partnership with TRS and the pink party’s unjust interference in AP elections. Learning about this, KTR and KCR have stopped making comments on Chandrababu or TDP.

It is apparent that KCR is waiting for the right time to speak against Chandrababu and looks like he will do it in a “special press conference” dedicated to criticising Chandrababu. Will he talk about “return gift” or drop another bomb on Chandrababu, is something we will have to wait for.
