And yet again, Geetha Arts is in the spotlight. If making fantastic films and entertaining audiences is on one side, then the tales being narrated by these aspiring directors is another side.
Earlier there are times where few aspiring directors have worked for years inside Geetha Arts camp on scripts and finally never got the movie that was promised. For couple years, a guy named Srinivas Gavireddy worked with Bunny and then narrated him many stories to make his directorial debut. Working with the creative team led by Bunny Vasu, he worked for a long time but finally, his stories aren’t accepted by Geetha team. He came out of the camp and made “Seethamma Andalu Ramayya Sitralu” with Raj Tarun, but the result went for a toss.
Another such person is ETV Prabhakar, who is working on scripts for Allu Sirish from a long time as Allu Arvind promised him a movie to direct. Finally, that is not happening and Prabhakar after taking a long time has taken decision to come out of the camp. He’s now making a film with hero Aadi in the lead and the film is being produced by UV Creations.
Like Prabhakar and Srinivas Gavireddy, there are many names doing rounds in Film Nagar that came out of Geetha camp. Of course, the case is no different in Dil Raju and other camps as well where youngsters do rounds to the office with revised versions of the same story for years. Sometimes a rejected aspiring director and his story will go on becoming a stupendous hit. Tarun Bhasker and his Pelli Choopulu are the classic examples.
