Top 5: What A Summer It Is Turning Out To Be

1) Bharat Ane Nenu: Bharat Ane Nenu had a steady weekend at box office. It is inching towards the Rs. 100 crore distributor share mark, which should be achieved by today or tomorrow. It will become the third Non-Baahubali and the first Non-Mega Baahubali film to achieve this feat. The film has collected more than Srimanthudu’s life time collections already and is on course to set a big benchmark for Mahesh’s upcoming films.

Bharat Ane Nenu should hold well post May Day to fancy its chance to surpass Rangasthalam that is still doing good business at box office.

2) Avengers: Infinity War: What a summer it is turning out to be at box office as the latest film in Avengers franchise has exceeded expectations in its opening weekend. The Hollywood action spectacle is likely to smash many records as it has been on a collection rampage across India. Its Telugu dubbed version also is running to packed houses all over.

3) Rangasthalam: Ram Charan’s mega blockbuster is continuing its dream run despite being in theaters for thirty days.Even big releases didn’t create much trouble for the film which has already set a huge benchmark for a Non-Baahubali film with more than Rs. 120 crore distributor share.

It will have fifty days run in good number of screens across Telugu states.

4) Achari America Yatra: Vishnu and Brahmanandam’s duo is expected to repeat the success of Dhee and Denikaina Ready, but Achari America Yatra turned out to be a dud.It couldn’t even get off to a decent start due to delayed release and poor pre release buzz. Bad word of mouth hampered its chances further.

Vishnu who is looking for a break has to wait for next release to put an end to his flop streak.

5) Kanam: Sai Pallavi’s craze also couldn’t save this horror drama that had nil buzz prior to its release. Kanam opened on a very dull note and couldn’t pick up during weekend.
