After earning 512k USD through premieres, Mahesh Babu’s Maharshi has raked in 160k USD on the opening day. With this, the combined collection of Wednesday premieres and Thursday openings stand at 673k USD.
To touch 1 million USD mark, Maharshi needs 327k USD more which is expected in the coming days. Lack of offers in the US and given the mixed reviews, Maharshi is walking on a tight rope in the US. It is estimated that Maharshi needs to rake in 3.5 million USD for break-even.
However, in contrary, the film is doing phenomenally well in AP and Telangana where the film registered non-Baahubali record in Nizam and Guntur.
