Rangasthalam turned blockbuster and twitter erupted in congratulatory messages as celebs haven’t stopped themselves from showering appreciations. Same is the case with films like Mahanati and Maharshi. Even if the films flop, certain stars get an appreciation for those movies like how Mahesh and Rajamouli encouraged some flops on Twitter.
Cut to the topic, it is surprising to see that none of our stars, heroines and directors has tweeted a word about Ismart Shankar featuring Ram Pothinien in the lead and directed by Puri Jagan. With the film sold at 17+ crores and the box office revenues standing at 27+ crores share so far, surely it is a blockbuster of all sorts for the hero and the director. But still no wishes for them at all.
Maybe the misogynistic content inside the film might have scared the heroes and heroines to appreciate Ram and Puri in the public glare. Because if they endorse Ismart Shankar, surely the feminist batch is going to pip the pulp out of them by asking them how they would endorse the ideas like beating a lover, trying to rape her and stalk-harass her in the name of love.
And the film remains a stark shocker for feminists and liberals too because they never understood why such misogynistic content got thumbs up from the audiences in the first place.
