YCP Government Has killed Amaravati: Chandrababu

TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu said he witnessed many elections but getting just 23 seats in the recent elections has upset him. “I really don’t know what happened and unable to figure out the reasons as well for the defeat in the elections. TDP government did nothing wrong,” said Chandrababu in a party meeting in Guntur.

“With one call, farmers gave 34,000 acres of land for the construction of capital city. This is an example of the trust farmers had on Telugu Desam government. I wanted to build an international city with best infrastructure as I have the experience and planned accordingly. But after the elections what has happened. YSRCP government has killed Amaravati. The development works are not moving ahead since three months,” said Chandrababu. Adding, “They are alleging that insider-trading happened whereas the land belongs to farmers and they voluntarily handed it over the government for capital region. They are making statements that something happened but don’t know what it is.”

Chandrababu further stated that all the election promises made by YSRCP are ignored. “They promised pension of Rs 3000 but are giving Rs 2250. There is no word on unemployment allowance and YSRCP government has stopped several welfare schemes like Chandranna Kanuka and weddings are not taking place. Even Anna Canteens were shut down,” said Babu.

The TDP chief also commented on PM Modi and CM Jagan’s meeting. “Instead of asking what the state wants, CM Jagan went to New Delhi just to complaint against me. What is he yielding from when he is in power,” questioned Babu.
