Comedian Prudhvi Raj of late has been speaking in favour of YSR Congress Chief Y.S Jaganmohan Reddy. Though there is no clarity about his entry into YSRCP, he has been making sensational comments against TDP leaders and especially against TDP spokesperson Sadineni Yamini.
Criticising TDP Chief N. Chandrababu Naidu’s comments on Jagan and the language used by other TDP leaders, Prudvi Raj said in an interview: “Oka aame..Yamini anta…mallepoolu anta…aame amaina mallepoolu thota penchinda? (There’s one lady..Yamini…Has she grown a Jasmine garden?),” he asked, making grotesque gestures with his hand.
Not stopping at that, he used the same gesture referring to Yamini and said: “A party which brought global recognition to the Telugus and founded by Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao, has people like this. She’s calling Pawan Kalyan Pawala Kalyan. If she calls him that, what is her rate? Rs. 100 is a lot for such a woman,” he said, targeting her character.
Apparently, “she has a Jasmine garden and it is available for people in huge stock,” he continued despite the interviewer trying to stop him from making such comments. While the comedy actor might be inclined to a political party, it would be wise for him to watch his language while making statements.
