AP High court gives green signal for Judge Ramakrishna’s bail

The AP High Court has granted conditional bail to the suspended judge Ramakrishna. The High court, which granted bail on a surety bond of Rs.50,000 ordered Judge Ramakrishna to cooperate with the investigating officer. Judge Ramakrishna, who was arrested in a treason case, has approached the High court for bail. The trial court granted him conditional bail and directed him not to speak to the media about the case. Currently, Judge Ramakrishna is in the Peeleru sub-jail.

In April 2021, AP police arrested Judge Ramakrishna on charges of trying to incite hatred in the people of AP against the constitutionally constituted Andhra Pradesh government and CM Jagan. Jayaram Chandrayya of Chittoor district had lodged a complaint against Judge Ramakrishna with the Peeleru police.
