Birthday Special: Upasana Konidela is a true inspiration

Upasana Konidela is celebrating her birthday on July 20. Besides being the wife of Mega Powerstar Ram Charan, she is also known for her social service and generous initiatives, which helped many people.

Elder daughter of Shobhana Kamineni and Anil Kamineni, Upasana is the Vice Chairperson CSR, Apollo Hospitals, and the Editor-in-Chief of B Positive magazine. Apparently, she is a third-generation entrepreneur from the Apollo Hospitals family in India.

Upasana is also a philanthropist and never hesitates to help the people in need. The founder of URLife is the “Ambassador of Forest Frontline Heroes (India)”.Known as a renowned businesswoman in the country, Upasana has made huge strides in the world of healthcare. Impacting the lives of millions in need, she, as a part of Apollo Foundation’s not-for-profit organization, Billion Hearts Beating, helped several across the world. Not to forget, the wife of RC is also a fashionista, who has often amazed us with her sartorial fashion picks.

Speaking about her awards, she received the Femina Award for Recognition in Healthcare in 2017. She was felicitated by Forbes in 2018. In 2019, Upasana was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Excellence Award for Philanthropist of the Year. She was also one of GQ magazine’s Heroes 2021, for leading work on the war against Coronavirus.

Like her father-in-law Megastar Chiranjeevi, Upasana too has a kind heart, aiming to help the poor. One good example is that she is helping 150 old age homes in states like Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, and Telangana through the Billion Hearts Beating program, which is a part of the Apollo Foundation.

Upasana has also been a rock-solid support for Ram Charan as the actor is reaching new heights in Indian cinema.

On the occasion of Upasana’s birthday, Rastra Ram Charan Yuvashakthi has organized celebrations in a big way. They will be doing various social activities across Telugu states such as distributing food at orphanages, giving essential needs in the flood-affected areas and saplings plantation. The Yuvashakthi will also be doing a special pooja in the name of Ram Charan and Upasana on July 20.
