Unrest in AP employees’ union begins!

The government employees of Andhra Pradesh very often feel that their union leaders are the least bothered about the welfare of their employees. These leaders are known to keep the mouths of their employees shut, and to silence everyone who speaks against the leaders. This prolonged silence is now breaking, with voices being predominantly heard.

Employees are furious with Venkatramireddy, the President of the Secretariat Employees Union. Several letters are being written to him, and all of these are being shared on WhatsApp, and thus, have become public knowledge. The letter written by Rama Rao, a former key employee of the secretariat is currently trending and is being highlighted.

In his letter, Rama Rao pointed out that Venkatramireddy never spoke on behalf of the employees, and always supported the government, saying that obeying the government is their responsibility. It is also mentioned that Venkatramireddy never took the pains to make sure that the children and family of those who passed away due to coronavirus received the benefits they were entitled to. Rama Rao also highlighted that Venkatramireddy demanded that every Secretariat employee should be vaccinated, and only after that would they participate in the local elections when they were being conducted by Nimmagadda; after the employees were vaccinated though, Ventaramireddy never spoke a word.

Rumours of Venkatramireddy benefiting from the government are doing the rounds predominantly right now, and the fact that he is more concerned with overpowering the leaders of other unions, than with the welfare of the employees in his union. With employees slowly raising voices, concerns regarding PRC, the corona crisis, the CPS policy and others are coming to the forefront. If the situations continue to remain the same, it si being said that one day, all the employees will revolt against the government.
