Amitabh Bachchan Loses Sleep Over Work

Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan has revealed that work-related thoughts have been keeping him awake at night. The 83-year-old actor, who remains one of the busiest stars in Indian cinema, shared his feelings in a heartfelt post on his personal blog.
In his latest entry, Bachchan disclosed that after completing a shoot, he felt his performance could have been better. With permission from the team, he decided to redo the scene, but the uncertainty over whether the second attempt was actually an improvement left him restless.
“After completing the work, I felt it could have been done better. I got permission and did it again. Now I don’t know whether it turned out better or not. Only those who watch it will be able to tell,” he wrote.
The legendary actor admitted that these thoughts kept running through his mind throughout the night. “I have not been able to sleep because of these thoughts, and before I knew it, it was morning,” he added while sending his love and wishes to his fans, fondly known as the EF (Extended Family).
Just last week, Bachchan spoke about his hectic schedule, revealing that he had shot for as many as 12 short films and completed two still shoots in a single day.
Despite being 83, Amitabh Bachchan continues to maintain an incredibly demanding work schedule. He will next be seen reprising his role as Ashwatthama in the highly anticipated sequel to Kalki 2898 AD. He is also part of Ramayana: Part 1, starring Ranbir Kapoor, and the courtroom drama Section 84.
Even at this stage of his illustrious career, Bachchan’s relentless pursuit of perfection and unwavering dedication to his craft continue to inspire generations of actors and fans alike.
