The remake is said to be part of Khal Nayak Returns, starring Sanjay Dutt. Despite the scale of the project, Tamannaah turned down the opportunity, though the exact reason has not been officially disclosed.
Interestingly, the original track itself had faced criticism for its bold lyrics at the time of release. Industry observers note that in today’s social media-driven environment, such content often attracts far more intense scrutiny and trolling.
It is speculated that recent controversies surrounding song lyrics in films like KD and special numbers in Peddi may have influenced her cautious approach.
