The latest speculation surfaced after Dhanush’s father, veteran filmmaker Kasthuri Raja, addressed the topic during a private event in Chennai. When asked by reporters whether Dhanush had plans to enter politics, Kasthuri Raja did not dismiss the possibility outright.

Responding to the question, he stated that anyone has the right to enter politics if they wish. He further added that not only his sons but even his grandsons could choose that path in the future if they desired. While his comments did not confirm any political ambitions for Dhanush, they have certainly fueled fresh discussions about the actor’s future.

On the professional front, Dhanush was last seen in Kara, a heist thriller that featured Mamitha Baiju as his on-screen wife. Despite the expectations surrounding the film, it failed to make a significant impact at the box office.
