What has caught the attention of industry observers is that Mahesh Babu has not officially announced or lined up any project beyond Varanasi. This stands in contrast to the approach taken by several other stars who worked with Rajamouli in the past.

During the making of Baahubali, Prabhas had already secured Saaho as his next major venture. Similarly, while working on RRR, Ram Charan appeared in Acharya, and Jr NTR had already positioned Devara as his next big project.

Mahesh Babu’s current situation appears different, as there is no confirmed film waiting in the pipeline once Varanasi is completed. One possible explanation is the immense confidence surrounding the project. Given Rajamouli’s track record and the scale of the film, there is a belief that Varanasi could significantly elevate Mahesh Babu’s stature, expanding his reach across national and international markets.
