The IPL final may have concluded yesterday, but the electrifying atmosphere at Mega Power Star Ram Charan’s Peddi pre-release event in Vijayawada felt every bit as grand. Thousands of enthusiastic fans thronged the venue, turning the event into a spectacle that rivaled the excitement of a championship match and highlighting the tremendous buzz surrounding the film.

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, who plays a pivotal role in Peddi, shared his deep connection with Vijayawada while expressing immense confidence in the film’s success.

“Just as it is a fact that I was born in Vijayawada, it is equally certain that Peddi will become a major support system for the entire industry, including distributors, exhibitors, and artists. This is a film that is destined to reach extraordinary heights. It will satisfy the audience’s long-standing craving for a truly grand cinematic experience,” he said.

The actor also revealed how special his role is in the film. “It has been nearly eight years since I got a character with such depth and power. After Aravinda Sametha, Peddi is the film that gave me that opportunity. I don’t know how Buchi Babu imagined me as Appalasuri, but I strongly believe this role will be remembered as one of the finest performances of my career.”

Jagapathi Babu went on to praise both Ram Charan and director Buchi Babu Sana. Recalling a conversation with Megastar Chiranjeevi, he said, “I once told Chiranjeevi garu that Charan has succeeded not only as an actor but also as a human being. I have immense affection and respect for him.”

He concluded by showering praise on the director, saying, “Buchi Babu may appear simple and soft-spoken, but the talent, intelligence, and vision he possesses are truly extraordinary. His potential is limitless.”
