Among this week’s theatrical releases, Nagabandham has emerged as one of the most talked-about films, thanks to its mythology-inspired premise and strong emphasis on Sanatana Dharma. The film’s promotional material has already offered a glimpse into its spiritual and mystical world, creating curiosity among audiences.

Over the past few years, films rooted in Indian mythology and cultural traditions have found both commercial success and appreciation from audiences across the country. Titles such as Kantara, HanuMan and Karthikeya 2 not only performed well at the box office but also received praise from several prominent political leaders.

During a recent media interaction, the makers of Nagabandham were asked whether they planned to screen the film for national leaders or seek wider recognition in North India. Responding to the question, the team said they are currently focused on releasing the film and reaching audiences.

The makers added that while they would certainly welcome the opportunity to showcase their work to influential personalities in the future, they believe they are still in the early stages of their journey. They hinted that such outreach could be explored for a potential sequel if the first film succeeds.

Set against the backdrop of ancient Vishnu temples, Nagabandham explores the mysterious ritual of Nagabandham while weaving together mythology, spirituality and hidden secrets. The film promises to take viewers on a journey through India’s sacred traditions and lesser-known legends.

Directed by Abhishek Nama, Nagabandham stars Virat Karna and Nabha Natesh in the lead roles. The film is scheduled for a theatrical release on July 3.
