Megastar Chiranjeevi is once again teaming up with director Bobby Kolli for their second collaboration, this time for a bigger and more ambitious project titled Mega 158.

Backed by prestigious production house KVN Productions and produced by Venkat K. Narayana, the film marks the banner’s entry into Telugu cinema after previously delivering successful films across Kannada, Tamil, and Hindi industries.

The project has already generated strong buzz, especially after the massive success of Chiranjeevi and Bobby Kolli’s earlier collaboration, Waltair Veerayya.

The film launch took place today with a grand pooja ceremony, attended by several members of the Mega family, making it a memorable occasion for fans.

Pawan Kalyan gave the clap for the first shot, while Sushmita Konidela switched on the camera. The first direction call was given by veteran filmmaker VV Vinayak.

Industry stalwarts B. Gopal and K. Raghavendra Rao (Kodandarami Reddy) along with Nagababu handed over the script, creating a rare and special Mega family moment that delighted fans.

Reports suggest that Bobby Kolli has designed a powerful and high-voltage story, presenting Chiranjeevi in one of his most intense roles to date. Malayalam actress Anaswara Rajan has joined the cast in a key role.

The technical team includes music by S. Thaman, cinematography by Vijay Karthik Kannan, production design by Avinash Kolla, and editing by Antony Ruben.

Regular shooting of Mega 158 begins tomorrow in Hyderabad, with expectations already soaring among fans and trade circles.
