Fans of Kannada superstar Yash, who rose to nationwide fame with the KGF franchise, are currently left confused due to the uncertainty surrounding the release dates of his upcoming big-budget films.

After delivering the pan-India blockbuster KGF Chapter 2, Yash has lined up two highly ambitious projects — Toxic, directed by Geetu Mohandas, and the mythological epic Ramayana, directed by Nitesh Tiwari. However, despite both films being in advanced stages of production, there is still no clarity on their official release dates.

This lack of announcement has led to widespread speculation among fans and industry circles. According to reports, Toxic was initially expected to release earlier, but has been repeatedly delayed due to extended shooting schedules and post-production work.

On the other hand, Ramayana, in which Yash reportedly plays the role of Ravana and also serves as a co-producer, is one of the most ambitious projects in Indian cinema. The film is being mounted on an estimated budget of around ₹4,000 crore, making it one of the costliest productions ever attempted.

While earlier reports suggested a possible Diwali release, the makers have still not confirmed an official release date. The absence of promotional activities or a clear launch timeline has added to the mystery surrounding the project.

Trade experts believe that such large-scale films require extensive global marketing campaigns well in advance to maximize box office performance. Delays in announcements and promotions could potentially impact opening collections and overall audience reach.

With two massive projects on his hands but no clear release strategy in place, fans feel uncertain about Yash’s upcoming phase. All eyes are now on the makers of Toxic and Ramayana to provide clarity on release plans and bring an end to the ongoing confusion.
