As she gears up for the release of her Telugu debut “Peddi,” Janhvi Kapoor has shared her thoughts on audience feedback, social media criticism, and the responsibility filmmakers have toward viewers.

Speaking about the growing trend of people judging films on social media even before watching them, Janhvi said she believes that a film made with sincerity and good intentions will eventually find its audience.

According to the actress, filmmaking is ultimately an act of service aimed at entertaining people. While audiences today are quick to express opinions online, she feels their voices cannot be ignored.

Janhvi emphasized that filmmakers create content for viewers, making audience feedback an essential part of the creative process. She added that artists should respect public opinion rather than dismiss it, as constructive criticism often helps them improve and deliver better work in the future.

Calling the audience “God,” the actress said filmmakers and actors are constantly trying to cater to and entertain them. She also made it clear that she welcomes all opinions, believing that every reaction—positive or negative—can contribute to growth as an artist.

Janhvi will next be seen in “Peddi,” directed by Buchi Babu Sana. The highly anticipated film features a star-studded cast including Ram Charan, Boman Irani, Shiva Rajkumar, Jagapathi Babu, Divyenndu, and Janhvi Kapoor. The film is slated for release on June 4.

On the Bollywood front, Janhvi was recently seen in “Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari,” directed by Shashank Khaitan and co-starring Varun Dhawan, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf, Maniesh Paul, and Akshay Oberoi.
