Suriya recently tasted a grand success with the film Karuppu, which was also released in Telugu as Veerabhadrudu. The film’s performance in the Telugu market has further boosted expectations around the actor’s next phase of career, as he lines up an impressive slate of projects aimed at expanding his reach and strengthening his pan-India appeal.

Following Veerabhadrudu, Suriya is set to come up with Viswanath and Sons, directed by Telugu filmmaker Venky Atluri. The film is currently in the final stages of production and is expected to give the actor a stronger hold in the Telugu audience base.
