However, trade buzz suggests that none of them currently holds the position of India’s highest-paid actor.

That title is now reportedly claimed by Ranveer Singh, thanks to the massive success of the Dhurandhar franchise.

Reports indicate that Dhurandhar 1 and Dhurandhar 2 together have achieved extraordinary global box office success, with combined worldwide gross collections said to be around ₹3,200 crore. In India alone, the two films are reportedly estimated to have crossed ₹1,900 crore in net collections.

Instead of opting for a fixed salary, Ranveer Singh reportedly chose a profit-sharing model with the producers. This decision is said to have significantly boosted his earnings.

At one stage, when the production budget reportedly exceeded expectations, Ranveer is also said to have invested in the project, eventually becoming a co-producer.

According to trade estimates, after accounting for theatrical revenue share, bonuses, and earnings from digital, satellite, and music rights, Ranveer Singh’s total income from the two films is reportedly around ₹325 crore.

Before this, Rajinikanth was believed to be India’s highest-paid actor, with earnings of around ₹250 crore from Jailer.

Similarly, stars like Prabhas and Allu Arjun are also reported to have earned close to ₹200 crore per film.

With this, Ranveer Singh is now reportedly being seen in trade circles as India’s highest-paid actor based on combined earnings from the Dhurandhar series.
