Speculation about a possible two-part release for Vishwambhara has finally been laid to rest. Director Mallidi Vassishta addressed the ongoing buzz in a lighthearted way on social media, posting, “Oh really… is that true?”, effectively shutting down rumours that the film would be split into two installments.

The chatter had gained traction online, leading to concerns among fans of Chiranjeevi that the big-budget fantasy entertainer might be divided unnecessarily. However, the director’s response makes it clear that there is no plan for a two-part release at this stage.

The film has been in production for a considerable period after its initial January 2025 release plan was pushed due to extensive post-production work. While shooting has reportedly been wrapped up, the project is still undergoing heavy VFX and technical enhancements, given its ambitious fantasy scale.

As per current plans, the makers are aiming for a theatrical release in July or August 2026. The delay has naturally led to multiple rumours, including speculation that the story might be split into two parts with a short gap between releases.

Fans had also expressed concern that an unnecessary division could impact the film’s narrative strength and box office performance, especially if the first part does not meet expectations.

With the director now clarifying the situation, attention has shifted back to the film’s final output, with fans hoping for a single, grand cinematic experience featuring Chiranjeevi in a powerful larger-than-life role.
