28 Years Of GM: Chiru Credits Director, Composer & Producer

Many films come and go, but only a few of them will live for generations. And top stars of Telugu industry have many such films in their kitty, and Megastar’s mass entertainer Gharana Mogudu is one among them. While this 1992 released film is a remake of 1986 Kannada film Anuraga Aralithu, it was a terrific hit than the original, that it became first Telugu film to enter 10 crores club.

As the film completed 28 years of its release (April 9, 1992 release date), director K Raghavendra Rao took to Twitter to share his feelings, but then, this time he tagged his friend Megastar Chiranjeevi as well, as the matinee idol gave his entry into Twitter. “Time flies but the memories of shooting for this film with my Babai Chiranjeevi are still fresh in my mind” said KRR, regarding which even Chiru responded.

As KRR has given the whole of the film’s success credit to Chiru indirectly, the Megastar stated that there are three main pillars behind this film. “More than the records this film created, it’s the memories and your (KRR) magic sir that is precious. You take care of artists so well and extracts terrific output. You, Keeravani (Composer) and Devi Varaprasad (Producer) are the main pillars of this film” Chiru said.

Definitely these days, during these tough Covid-19 times, Chiranjeevi is taking everyone for a nostalgic ride every day.
