Khushbu Slams Trolls Targeting Her Daughters
Actor-politician Khushbu Sundar has strongly condemned online trolls who targeted her daughters, Avantika and Anandita, over their appearance following Anandita’s recent wedding.
Taking to X, Khushbu shared an emotional note, making it clear that she would not remain silent when her family was subjected to personal attacks. She asserted that her silence should never be mistaken for weakness and vowed to defend her children against unwarranted criticism.
Reflecting on her family’s journey, Khushbu said everything they have achieved has come through years of dedication, hard work, and perseverance. She described her family as one built on love, trust, and mutual respect, adding that despite growing up in the spotlight, her daughters have always remained grounded and never misused their identity as celebrity children.
“We have struggled, worked hard to the bone, bled and sweated to be where we are today,” she wrote, adding that every setback in life only made the family stronger.
Expressing pride in her daughters, Khushbu said they have always carried themselves with humility and dignity. She criticized those who target individuals on social media merely to gain attention, followers, or views.
Issuing a stern warning to online abusers, Khushbu wrote that no one should underestimate a mother’s determination to protect her children. She stressed that her message was directed not at one individual but at everyone who believed they could insult her family without consequences.
The actor also used the opportunity to encourage women to stand up against disrespect and refuse to tolerate online harassment. She urged women to value themselves, speak up against abuse, and never allow others to diminish their self-worth.
Khushbu concluded her post by expressing gratitude to actor Radhikaa Sarathkumar for standing by her during the difficult time, describing her as both a close friend and an extended family member.
Khushbu’s response comes just days after her younger daughter, Anandita, tied the knot with Merchant Navy officer Shravan Sreenivasan in an intimate wedding ceremony attended by close family members and friends. The celebrations were followed by a wave of insensitive comments on social media, prompting the actor to publicly defend her daughters and call for greater respect and accountability online.
