Tamil cinema’s two biggest icons, Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth, are joining forces for a grand pan-India project under the prestigious Raaj Kamal Films International banner. Backed by Kamal Haasan and R. Mahendran, the much-anticipated film, tentatively referred to as #Thalaivar173, is being directed by Aswath Marimuthu.

The makers unveiled the title and first-look poster today, revealing the film’s powerful name—Dharman. The striking poster introduces Rajinikanth in a never-seen-before avatar as a deadly doctor, perfectly complementing the intriguing tagline.

Set inside what appears to be an operation theatre, Rajinikanth is seen sporting blue surgical scrubs, dark sunglasses, and a chilling smile. The image takes a darker turn with a blood-stained scalpel in his hand, while his hands and forearms are covered in blood, hinting at a character who functions far beyond the ethics of conventional medicine.

Adding to the intensity, Rajinikanth stands triumphantly with one foot placed over a bloodied body lying on the floor, projecting complete dominance and authority. The first look effortlessly blends style, mystery, and mass appeal, creating the kind of larger-than-life aura that fans expect from the superstar.

The film boasts a strong technical team, with Rockstar Anirudh Ravichander composing the music. Niketh Bommi handles cinematography, Pradeep E. Raghav takes charge of editing, and the acclaimed Anbariv duo will choreograph the action sequences.
