Ram Charan’s Peddi continues its dream run at the global box office, inching closer to the prestigious Rs 300 crore worldwide gross mark. Backed by strong word-of-mouth and consistent collections, the film has emerged as one of the biggest successes of the year.

To celebrate the overwhelming response, the team organized a special thank-you meet, where the cast and crew shared their experiences and gratitude with audiences.

Director Buchi Babu Sana revealed that Peddi was inspired by the immense sporting talent hidden in rural India. He said the film was conceived as an emotionally driven story that could resonate with audiences beyond the boundaries of a conventional commercial entertainer.

Buchi also expressed his gratitude to Ram Charan for placing complete faith in his vision from the very beginning and supporting the project through its challenging journey.

Veteran actor Jagapathi Babu praised Ram Charan’s dedication and commitment, saying the actor carried the entire film on his shoulders.

“Peddi played, fought, and won. Even after winning, the team had to fight another battle after release and win again. In many ways, this is a rare victory that came twice. Narrating such a story to Charan, convincing him, and finding a producer willing to back it was a razor-edge journey. One small mistake could have changed everything because the audience is the ultimate judge. Charan shouldered that responsibility throughout,” Jagapathi Babu said.

Ram Charan, in turn, thanked audiences for embracing the film with such affection. He said watching viewers celebrate every scene in theatres has been a deeply emotional experience.

The actor described Peddi as one of the most important films of his career and credited its success to his belief in Buchi Babu’s story and vision.

“I’m happy that I trusted Buchi’s narration. Collections are growing everywhere, and the audience response has been incredible. When he first narrated the story, I was so moved that I hugged him. Later, I realized how risky the film was. But the audience has proved once again that honest storytelling always finds success,” Ram Charan said.

He also acknowledged the contributions of his co-stars and technicians, praising Jagapathi Babu’s powerful performance and Shiva Rajkumar’s impactful presence. Charan further credited A.R. Rahman’s music for elevating the film and thanked producer Kilaru Satish for ensuring a smooth production despite the scale of investment involved.

With collections continuing to rise and audience appreciation showing no signs of slowing down, Peddi appears set to achieve yet another major milestone in its remarkable box-office journey.
