Nabha Natesh Calls Parvathi Her Best Role
With Nagabandham gearing up for its theatrical release on July 3, actress Nabha Natesh has opened up about her role in the ambitious fantasy drama. Starring Virat Karrna in the lead and directed by Abhishek Nama, the film features Nabha in a pivotal role that she describes as one of the most powerful characters of her career.
Speaking about her character Parvathi, Nabha said she is a courageous woman deeply rooted in tradition, whose decisions play a crucial role in shaping the film’s narrative. She added that the role carries significant emotional depth and is unlike any character she has portrayed before.
The actress also praised the film’s grand visual scale, calling Nagabandham a complete cinematic spectacle. According to her, every set, sequence, and frame has been crafted with meticulous attention to detail, making it a film best experienced on the big screen.
One of the film’s biggest highlights is an elaborate song sequence featuring nearly 5,000 dancers choreographed by Ganesh Acharya. Nabha revealed that the song blends grandeur with spirituality, creating a visually stunning celebration of devotion rather than just a dance performance.
She fondly recalled shooting inside a massive replica of the Anantha Padmanabhaswamy Temple, describing the experience as deeply spiritual. The intricate detailing of the set and the sacred atmosphere left a lasting impression on the cast and crew, she said.
Nabha also lauded director Abhishek Nama for his meticulous planning, revealing that every scene had been visualized through detailed storyboards before filming began. She credited his preparation for making such a large-scale production run smoothly.
The actress further shared that the team maintained strict discipline while shooting inside the temple set. Daily rituals were performed before filming, and the cast and crew followed a vegetarian diet throughout that schedule to preserve the spiritual ambience.
While romance forms part of her character’s journey, Nabha emphasized that Parvathi is much more than a conventional heroine. She hinted that the character carries major emotional twists that will surprise audiences.
