After the phenomenal success of Pushpa 2, Allu Arjun has teamed up with director Atlee for the highly ambitious pan-Indian project Raaka. Backed by a massive budget and powered by extensive visual effects, the film is progressing steadily and is already generating huge anticipation.
The first-look poster of Raaka created an instant buzz, with Allu Arjun’s intense and rugged transformation taking fans by surprise. While the striking poster sparked widespread curiosity, audiences have been eagerly waiting for a glimpse that reveals more about the film’s unique world.
Since unveiling the poster, the makers have maintained complete silence regarding further promotional material. However, that wait could finally end soon, with a major update expected in August.
According to industry sources, the team is currently concentrating on the film’s extensive VFX work to ensure the visuals meet the grand scale envisioned for the project. If everything goes according to plan, the makers are likely to release the first glimpse of Raaka in August, offering fans their first real look into the film’s universe.
Deepika Padukone plays the female lead, while Rashmika Mandanna, Mrunal Thakur, and Janhvi Kapoor are rumored to be part of the ensemble cast. Sai Abhyankar is composing the music for the film.
Being mounted on an unprecedented scale, Raaka is shaping up to be one of the biggest Indian films currently under production. The film is expected to hit theatres in the second half of 2027.
