Suriya’s upcoming film Veerabhadrudu, originally titled Karuppu in Tamil, is gearing up for a grand theatrical release this weekend in both Telugu and Tamil. The film has already generated decent buzz, and the makers are optimistic about receiving a positive response from audiences.

As part of the promotions, the team recently organized a pre-release event in Hyderabad, attended by the principal cast and crew. However, one particular moment from the event quickly became a major talking point on social media.
Director RJ Balaji made emotional comments praising Joseph Vijay’s political success, and the reactions of Suriya and his brother Karthi during the speech caught the attention of fans online.

While Balaji spoke highly about Vijay’s journey from actor to Chief Minister, Suriya appeared visibly impressed and appreciative, while Karthi responded with applause and smiles, further fueling discussion among fans.

Speaking at the event, Balaji said that when Vijay launched his political party two years ago with strong conviction and vision, many people doubted his chances. However, he eventually surprised everyone by becoming the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu.

Balaji also drew a comparison with Pawan Kalyan, saying that just like Pawan Kalyan believed in his own political vision and succeeded, he too trusted his instincts while making this film.

The speech quickly went viral online, especially because of the enthusiastic reactions from Suriya and Karthi during the praise directed at Vijay.
