Sunita Ahuja has once again grabbed headlines with her candid remarks about her husband, Govinda, during her appearance on the Netflix reality show Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa, hosted by Farah Khan and Riteish Deshmukh.

The conversation unfolded after actress Shilpa Shinde, who entered the show as a wildcard contestant, brought up Sunita’s earlier comments about Govinda. Responding firmly, Sunita said people should first put themselves in her position before judging her.

She stated that only someone who experiences the same situation can truly understand what she has gone through, adding that it is her personal life and she has every right to make her own choices.

Sunita then made a striking statement about her marriage, saying that Govinda is her husband and that she would never leave him, even if he had multiple affairs. She emphasized that she would continue to love him until her last breath.

Later in the episode, while speaking with fellow contestant Ram Kapoor, Sunita again addressed the issue and expressed her displeasure over Shilpa’s remarks. She reiterated that no one has the right to comment on her family or her relationship with her husband.

Sunita asserted that regardless of what happens in her marriage, it remains a private matter between her and Govinda. She maintained that outsiders should refrain from interfering or passing judgment on their personal lives.

Lock Upp: Sach Ya Sazaa marks the return of the controversial reality show, with its first season having premiered in 2022 under the hosting of Kangana Ranaut. Actor Karan Kundrra served as the jailor throughout the inaugural edition, while comedian Munawar Faruqui emerged as the winner.

The new season features 14 contestants, two jailers and a single lock-up over a six-week competition. Contestants must complete various tasks to earn in-game currency, which is required to obtain basic necessities such as food, supplies and special privileges, making survival inside the lock-up a constant challenge.
