AP Government orders probe into Kathi Mahesh’s death

The Andhra Pradesh government has ordered a probe into the death of actor and film critic Kathi Mahesh. It is known news the actor died in a Chennai hospital following a car accident on Nellore Highway.

MRPS chief Manda Krishna Madiga, who was present at the funeral of Mahesh on Monday, expressed suspicions over the death of the critic. The MRPS leader, who demanded an inquiry with a sitting judge, said how the accident took place was suspicious, adding that the driver came out with minor injuries even though the right side of the car was completely crushed in the road accident.

Manda Krishna reminded that Kathi Mahesh had many enemies. He urged the Andhra Pradesh government to conduct an in-depth investigation into the incident.

Responding to his demand, Jagan government ordered an inquiry into the death of Mahesh. Police rushed to the spot and called Mahesh’s car driver Suresh for questioning. Police seem to be focusing on what happened after the accident. On the other side, Obulesh, the actor’s father, also expressed doubts over his son’s death.
