AP: New Cabinet Ministers Giving Headache to High Command!

There is no confusion and doubts about the new Cabinet of Andhra Pradesh. To keep an end to the long doubts and speculations, Cabinet 2.0 has been formed. While many new faces were taken into the Cabinet, a few old faces in the previous cabinet were also given a chance.

The Cabinet Ministers are learning new things. The reason for this is that MLAs were given the Cabinet Posts for the first time and the Ministers who held Cabinet posts in the previous Cabinet were allocated new portfolios.

For example, the Education Minister in the previous Cabinet, Adimulapu Suresh was given the Municipal Administration and Urban Development (MA&UD) portfolio. Botsa Satyanarayana has a similar case.

It’s been barely one week since the new cabinet Minister took charge, but a few Ministers have already hit the headlines for the wrong reasons and giving a headache to the party leadership.

Cinematography Minister Chelluboina Srinivasa Venugopala Krishna is the first Minister to kickstart a controversy. He had openly urged the Journalists to praise CM Jagan so that their work would be done.

Minister Usha Sricharan has another story. To make way for her convoy, traffic has been stopped in the Anantapur region reportedly and this had led to the death of a small baby. However, the Cops cleared the air on the issue. But the issue had already brought a bad name to the Minister.

Revenue Minister Dharmana Prasada Rao also found himself in the middle of a controversy after he reportedly slapped a party worker at an event that was held to congratulate him for getting a Cabinet Post.

Minister for Endowments Kottu Satyanarayana, recently visited the famous Srikalahasti temple. As he visited the shrine, devotees were made to wait by the authorities. This did not go well with the devotees and they hit back by raising Go Back slogans against the Minister.

Key documents related to Kakani Govardhan Reddy’s case gave birth to a big political storm. The opposition parties are targeting the government on this and daring the government to probe the matter without any partiality. All these issues have brought a headache for the party leadership. Will the leadership take any strict action against them, we have to wait and see.
