Atchan and Ramanayudu to not be given the mic

Atchannaidu and Ramanayudu are the two people from TDP whose voices are predominantly heard in the assembly, on behalf of the TDP. However, these voices are likely to be silenced now, with the latest decision taken by the Privilege Committee.

CM YS Jagan Mohan Reddy had, in the previous assembly sessions, called Ramanayudu, Dramanayudu, to which Ramanayudu replied by asking whether Jagan should be called Jail Reddy. This angered the CM and the rest of the YSRCP members, who then passed a Privilege motion against Ramanayudu. The results have come out today, and the Privilege Committee has asked the Speaker of the Assembly, Thammineni Sitaram, to not allow Ramanayudu to speak.

Earlier, another privilege motion was passed against Atchannaidu as well, for his comments against the speaker, to which Atchan even replied. Despite that, Atchan has also been requested to not be given the mic in the upcoming monsoon sessions of the Assembly. With only 3 members from the opposition present in the assembly right now, there might be questions from the TDP, asking why the YSRCP is getting scared and bullying 3 members.
