‘Nagabandham’ Scores Massive Non-Theatrical Deals Ahead of Release
June 5, 2026

The much-anticipated mythical adventure thriller Nagabandham has achieved an impressive milestone in the current market, securing strong non-theatrical business even before its theatrical release. The film has attracted significant interest from leading industry players, resulting in highly lucrative deals across platforms.
Amazon Prime Video has acquired the film’s streaming rights, while Star Maa has secured the Telugu satellite rights. Zee Entertainment Enterprises has taken the television rights for Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, and Malayalam versions, further strengthening the film’s pan-Indian reach. Additionally, Zee Studios will handle distribution across North India and overseas markets.
What makes this achievement notable is that the film is headlined by emerging actor Virat Karrna, who is still in the early stages of his career. Despite this, the project has commanded strong market confidence due to its large-scale vision, visual ambition, and strong storytelling potential.
Director Abhishek Nama reportedly showcased the film’s strengths to potential partners through exclusive previews, which received highly positive responses. Industry circles have praised the film’s world-building, technical quality, and the momentum generated by its promotional content.
For the makers, this success is seen as a strong validation of their decision to mount the film on a grand canvas, backed by extensive VFX work, rich production design, and a belief in large-scale storytelling. With solid trade backing already in place, Nagabandham now heads toward its July 3 release with strong commercial expectations.
