Bakkani Narasimhulu appointed Telangana TDP president

Senior TDP leader Bakkani Narasimhulu has been appointed as TDP Telangana unit president. He replaced L Ramana, who recently joined the ruling TRS party.

Narasimhulu has been appointed by the party’s national president N Chandrababu Naidu. The veteran leader, who belongs to the scheduled community, also had the experience of serving as the Shadnagar MLA in 1994-99.

The name of Arvind Gowda, a member of the BC community, was first considered as a member of the Politburo. At one stage, the name of Ravula Chandra Sekar Reddy came up for discussion, but he was not interested due to personal reasons. With Ravula’s refusal to accept the responsibilities, it seems that the leadership is leaning towards Bakkani Narasimhulu.

On the occasion of the election of Telugu Desam Party Telangana state president, Bakkani Narasimhulu politely met TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh. The young TDP leader congratulated Narasimhulu and asked him to fight for the solution to the people’s problems.
