“God of Masses” Nandamuri Balakrishna and director Boyapati Srinu, the duo behind blockbusters like Simha, Legend and the pan-India hit Akhanda, are now returning with the much-anticipated sequel Akhanda 2. With each collaboration turning bigger than the last, expectations for this film are sky-high.
As part of the film’s special promotions, NBK and Boyapati met Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath today. They presented him with the iconic Akhanda Trishulam and screened exclusive footage from the sequel. Since Yogi Adityanath actively promotes Sanatana Dharma, the team felt it was meaningful to show him glimpses of a film deeply rooted in spiritual and cultural themes.
Despite his packed schedule, the CM watched select scenes from Akhanda 2 and reportedly enjoyed them thoroughly. He appreciated the portions he saw and expressed that such films — which highlight Indian culture, tradition, mythology, and divine elements — deserve to be watched by every Indian. He also recommended the film to others.
NBK and the team formally invited him to watch the full film upon release.
Akhanda 2 is set for a grand worldwide release on December 5, in both 2D and 3D formats, promising a massive visual and spiritual spectacle.

Harshith Reddy’s Deewana Builds Buzz Ahead of Release
June 19, 2026

Harshith Reddy is one of the young actors aiming to make a strong breakthrough in the film industry and establish himself in the big league. After gaining attention with the film Mail on Aha Video, he went on to appear in notable projects, including a brief role alongside Prabhas in Kalki.
This week, he is arriving with a new film titled Deewana, which has already generated decent buzz ahead of release. The project has also impressed Allu Aravind, who has come forward to release the film, further boosting expectations around its theatrical run. Now, all eyes are on whether the pre-release hype will translate into strong audience response.
Initially scheduled for a grand release today, the film’s premiere was postponed to tomorrow due to delays in censor clearance. However, the makers have organized paid premieres starting tonight across the Telugu states, building early momentum. Harshith Reddy, already a familiar face among youth and social media audiences, is being actively promoted as a fresh talent in coming-of-age cinema.
Early promotional content suggests that Deewana carries a bold and contemporary theme that aligns with today’s youth sensibilities. Reports from special screenings indicate positive word of mouth, with many praising its engaging and radical presentation. If the film connects well with audiences, it is expected to perform strongly at the box office.
Directed by Srikanth Sangisetty and produced by V Studios and Arha Media, Deewana is positioned as an important film for the young actor’s career trajectory.
