Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka on Monday held a preparatory meeting with Congress leaders of the Madhira constituency to review arrangements for the upcoming public meeting.
He urged party cadres to ensure the massive event, scheduled for June 30 at Chintakani with an expected turnout of around two lakh people, is organized as a historic success. The meeting will mark the release of ‘Rythu Bharosa’ funds directly into farmers’ accounts across the state by Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy.
Bhatti Vikramarka said this would be the first major public gathering in the constituency after the Congress government came to power. He noted that the programme would send a strong message of the government’s commitment to farmers’ welfare, as funds are transferred directly to lakhs of farmers in a single click.
During the coordination meeting held at Jagannadhapuram crossroads in Chintakani mandal, he issued detailed instructions to key leaders and public representatives on mobilization and arrangements. He stressed the importance of micro-level planning, including appointing booth-level in-charges and preparing a detailed list of attendees with contact details.
He also directed the formation of Mandal Organizing Committees involving present and former Congress leaders to coordinate publicity, transportation, and logistics. He suggested that party volunteers assist in managing crowd movement and guiding attendees at entry points to ensure smooth arrangements.
Wyra MLA Malothu Ramdas Naik stated that around 50,000 people would be mobilized from the Wyra constituency alone and proposed naming the event “Rythu Ashirvada Sabha.” He called for collective efforts to make the Chintakani meeting a landmark political event in Telangana.
As part of the preparations, Bhatti Vikramarka also inspected potential venues in Chintakani mandal along with district Collector Diwakar TS and Police Commissioner Sunil Dutt, reviewing arrangements for the proposed public meeting.
