After the disappointing performance of Game Changer, Ram Charan has found much-needed relief with Peddi, which is enjoying a remarkable run at the box office. The film continues to attract audiences across regions, and its success was celebrated at a grand thanksgiving event where several emotional speeches from the cast and crew became the highlight of the evening.

Among them, Ram Charan’s heartfelt address stood out. The actor said he was overwhelmed by the immense love and appreciation being showered on him by audiences and fans after the film’s release. He clarified that he did not take up the project due to any external pressure, but purely because he believed in the honesty and emotional depth of director Buchi Babu’s story.

Charan expressed happiness over the film’s growing collections and increasing audience support, both in India and overseas. He recalled watching the movie at Prasads IMAX and said it was a memorable experience to witness audiences applauding even the most unexpected scenes. According to him, such reactions reaffirmed the emotional connection viewers have developed with the film.

Reflecting on his career, Charan stated that Peddi would undoubtedly rank among the top films in his filmography. He revealed that when he first heard the story, he was so moved that he immediately hugged director Buchi Babu. However, he later realized that the project was a risky “razor’s edge” subject rather than a conventional commercial entertainer. The film’s success, he said, proves that audiences continue to support sincere and honest storytelling.

The actor also expressed joy over the film’s wide appeal, noting that everyone from young children to elderly family members has embraced the movie. He credited the success to the collective efforts of the entire team and praised his co-stars and technicians for their exceptional contributions.

Charan reserved special praise for veteran actor Jagapathi Babu, saying his performance moved him to tears. He also lauded Shiva Rajkumar for delivering a powerful performance that became one of the film’s major strengths. The actor further highlighted Oscar-winning composer A.R. He also appreciated lyricist Anantha Sriram, saying the inspirational lyrics written for the film would remain in his personal playlist for years to come.
