Anirudh Ravichander’s Rising Demand and Possible Bollywood Collaboration Buzz

Anirudh Ravichander is currently one of the most sought-after music directors in Indian cinema, riding high on a strong success streak across multiple industries.
He has emerged as one of the highest-paid composers, with reports suggesting his remuneration now rivals, and in some cases even surpasses, that of Oscar-winning music legend A. R. Rahman. From Tamil and Telugu films to Bollywood, leading production houses are actively lining up to work with him.
In Telugu cinema, Anirudh is already composing for Nani’s The Paradise, along with other major projects including films by Koratala Siva and Nandamuri Balakrishna. He has also reportedly come on board for the much-anticipated Allu Arjun–Lokesh Kanagaraj collaboration.
Adding to the buzz, industry reports suggest that producers Dil Raju and Vamshi Paidipally are keen to bring him on board for their upcoming Bollywood venture starring superstar Salman Khan, which has recently gone on floors.
Interestingly, S. Thaman is already associated with the project. Buzz in film circles indicates that Dil Raju is considering a unique musical arrangement—bringing Anirudh in to compose the songs while Thaman handles the background score.
The key question now is whether Anirudh would agree to share creative responsibilities with another top composer. While Bollywood has a history of multiple composers working on a single film, such collaborations remain relatively rare in South Indian cinema, especially when it involves top-tier names like Anirudh Ravichander.
