Swayambhu Team Focuses on Grand VFX Experience Ahead of Release
Nikhil Siddhartha’s highly anticipated period action epic Swayambhu is steadily moving towards release, with the makers recently kickstarting the film’s musical promotions through the powerful first single Ra Ra Dheevara.
Much like the posters and teaser released earlier, the song has also received an impressive response from audiences, further raising expectations for the film.
Directed by Bharat Krishnamachari, Swayambhu was originally planned for a summer release. However, the team decided to postpone the release in order to complete the extensive post-production work without compromising on quality.
The makers recently released a special behind-the-scenes video showcasing the massive effort being invested in creating a grand cinematic experience. The footage featured Nikhil Siddhartha along with director Bharat Krishnamachari and cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar visiting the Phantom FX studio, where the film’s large-scale CG and VFX work is currently underway.
According to the team, Swayambhu includes more than 2700 CG and VFX shots, with over 750 technicians working round the clock to deliver world-class visuals.
Nikhil and cinematographer Senthil Kumar are reportedly supervising the VFX process personally to ensure that the film meets high visual standards and avoids a rushed release.
Produced by Bhuvan and Sreekar under the Pixel Studios banner and presented by Tagore Madhu, the film is now in the final stages of post-production. The makers are expected to announce the new release date soon.
