Cases were registered against Kishan Reddy, Jagadish Reddy and Revanth Reddy

Nalgonda district SP Ranganath said cases have been registered against leaders of three major parties for violating election rules during the Nagarjuna Sagar by-election campaign.

On the 10th of this month, Union Home Minister G. Kishan Reddy, Congress Working President A. Revanth Reddy and Electricity Minister G. Jagadish Reddy used vehicles in their campaigns in the Nidamanoor zone.

According to the election rules, only 5 vehicles were allowed in the convoy and the case was registered as there were 15-20 vehicles in their election campaign.

Also, cases have been filed against TRS candidate Nomula Bhagat and BJP candidate Ravinaik for violating the Covid rules. Police have urged the leaders of political parties and people to co-operate in the wake of the corona boom in the state.
