Veteran filmmaker Singeetham Srinivasa Rao has always been known for his unconventional storytelling and imaginative approach to cinema. Even at a stage when most filmmakers slow down, he continues to revisit one of his most cherished ideas, now being brought to life as a music-driven film backed by visionary producer Nag Ashwin.

The recently released teaser has already received a highly positive response, raising expectations for the project. Following this, the team unveiled the first song titled “Hello Bossuu”, which stands out for its quirky and refreshing tone. Music composer Devi Sri Prasad steps away from his usual commercial style to deliver something experimental and playful, also contributing to the lyrics along with Utthana Bharighat.

The song introduces a surreal situation in a quiet village where everything seems oddly still. The protagonist, played by Wamcee, wakes up in the afternoon confused by a lingering hangover, only to realize that whatever he speaks is turning into song. Initially startled, he slowly embraces the unusual phenomenon. As he walks through the village singing, a young boy joins him, revealing—also through song—that the entire village is trapped in the same strange condition.

This inventive and whimsical concept once again reflects Singeetham’s signature storytelling style, blending fantasy with humor in a fresh way. Adding to the uniqueness, Wamcee himself has lent his voice to the song, with RP Krishaang joining in towards the climax.

Sing Geetham is scheduled for theatrical release on June 11.
