Concerns over the quality of food served under government school meal schemes have often surfaced, despite adequate funds being allocated for the program. Allegations of irregularities at the local level have frequently sparked debates over the implementation of these welfare initiatives.

Against this backdrop, Telangana Chief Minister Revanth Reddy personally inspected the breakfast scheme during his visit to Arutla on Tuesday. Ahead of attending a massive public meeting, the Chief Minister interacted with government school students and joined them for breakfast to assess the quality of the meals being served.

The interaction produced some heartwarming visuals, with Revanth Reddy even stepping into the kitchen and helping prepare pooris for the students. Videos of the Chief Minister rolling the dough and participating in the cooking process quickly went viral on social media.

His gesture has drawn widespread attention, with many appreciating the hands-on approach and the importance given to monitoring welfare schemes at the grassroots level. The visit also highlighted the government’s focus on ensuring that students receive nutritious meals under the daily breakfast program.
