Cockroach Janta Party Sparks Debate: Jagan Support vs Pawan Kalyan Opposition

Share

A new political discourse reportedly referred to as the “Cockroach Janta Party” is creating buzz across India, with discussions now echoing in Telugu states as well. Interestingly, former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy and Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan appear to hold contrasting views on this emerging Gen Z-driven movement.

Speaking at a recent press conference, YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is said to have expressed support for the movement, even making a symbolic remark about being ready to identify himself with the “cockroach movement” in the fight for justice. His comments were interpreted as an endorsement of the growing social media-driven political expression.

On the other hand, Pawan Kalyan, addressing a party meeting in Delhi, reportedly took a critical stance. Without directly naming the movement, he cautioned against attempts by what he described as narrow-minded groups trying to disturb or destabilize the existing political system.

He emphasized the need for strong leadership in the country and suggested that such small or experimental political movements should not be allowed to disrupt national stability. His position is seen as aligned with his role in the NDA alliance.

While one leader appears to view the movement as a form of social expression, the other treats it as a potential destabilizing force, highlighting the contrasting political narratives emerging around the issue.
