Coronavirus: GoT actress Indira Varma tested positive

After Kristofer Hivju tested positive for coronavirus (who is popularly known for his role Tormund Giantsbane in Game of Thrones), another star from GoT Indira Varma revealed that she has been tested positive for Covid-19.

The two actors were tested positive in a span of two days. Indira Varma is known for her role of Ellaria Sand in GoT. She also made her film debut with Kamasutra: A Tale of Love

The affected actress took the unfortunate news on social media – “I’m in bed with it and it’s not nice. Stay safe and healthy and be kind to your fellow people,” she wrote. Varma was busy with Anton Chekhov’s play “The Seagull” in London’s West End, alongside “Game of Thrones” alum Emilia Clarke, but it was stopped midway due to corona outbreak.

On this Varma wrote “So sad our and so many other shows around the world have gone dark affected by the Covid-19 pandemic. We hope to be back soon and urge you all (and the govt) to support us when we do. Phoenix/ Seagull rising from the ashes”.

Indira’s other popular television series are The Canterbury Tales, Rome, Luther, Human Target, Netflix series Paranoid and the latest series Carnival Row. Along with HBO series GoT actors Indira Varma and Hivju, we had earlier learnt that Hollywood actors like Tom Hanks, Rita Wilson, Idris Elba, French actress Olga Kurylenko, and Rachel Matthews were tested positive for the novel virus as well.
