Court Says Ok For CBI Custody Of Kadapa Mp’s Close Aide!

The murder case of former Kadapa MP YS Vivekananda Reddy had passed through interesting twists and turns so far. Big names have surfaced in the case earlier after the former driver of YS Vivekananda Reddy Dastagiri revealed more into the murder case on the issues that led to the murder of YS Viveka, former MP.

As another big twist in the much-talked-about case, it has been widely reported that the CBI officials were granted permission to question one of the suspects Devireddy Shiva Shankar Reddy. Hearing a petition filed by the central agency, the Kadapa Court gave its nod for the agency to go ahead with the grilling.

This made people eagerly wait to know what more developments will take place in the murder case in the coming days. Though the CBI sought the custody of Shiva Shankar Reddy for eight days, the Kadapa court is believed to have said that the custody can be granted for just seven days and not more than that. The grilling session of Shankar Reddy will go on till the 2nd of December.

The testimony given by former driver Dastagiri became a turning point in the case earlier and based on the same the investigation is being carried out. After turning approver, Dastagiri recorded his statement and dropped a big bomb by mentioning big names who are said to be involved in the case, and Shankar Reddy, a close aide of Kadapa MP YS Avinash Reddy is one of the big names.

It has to be mentioned that YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunita Reddy who earlier knocked on the doors of the High Court seeking the transfer of the case to the Central Bureau of Investigation(CBI) had mentioned Shankar Reddy as one of the suspects in the case. Dastagiri also mentioned Shankar Reddy’s name in his statement.

Giving the case a new path, Dastagiri in his statement alleged that due to assets issue Viveka was murdered and the plan was made for Rs 40 crore. Dastagiri also said that Erra Gangireddy had promised to pay Rs 5 crore to him out of the total amount of Rs 40 crore for which the deal was made.
